The three cycles "Forgotten Tunes" by N. Medtner are based on the themes which he composed during his earlier creative career, but did not used in the previous works.
The first cycle (op. 38) includes eight works: "Reminiscence Sonata," "Graceful Dance," "Festive Dance," "River Song," "Rural Dance," "Night Song," "Dance in the Woods," "A la Reminiscence."
