The edition contains F. Chopin's mazurkas, written in the period from 1840 to 1849 (Op. 50, 56, 59, 63, 67, 68, B. 134, B. 140). The composer had first turned to the genre when he was 15 years old, and continued to write them till the end of the life. The mazurkas are published in the edition of K. Klindworth
